Bob was a real gent and a good friend. He was unwavering in his support and inspiration of athletes of all abilities, of which I was one. He would turn upon during his coaching career in all weathers to guide us all to greater achievements.

His legacy will live on in the hearts of so many people as a man, as a friend and as a coach.
